Girl Scouts Install First Buddy Benches in Tennessee

Ask children what their favorite part of the school day is and they will usually say recess. Football, four-square, jump rope, and freeze tag can offer an exciting time of refreshment from studies. Girl Scouts Take Top Awards at Second Annual A-Blazing Model Solar Car Race!

Girl Scout Troops 10103 (Collierville) and 13361 (Cordova) took home top honors in MLGW’s “A-Blazing Model Solar Car Race” held on the Beale Street Landing Parking Garage roof top Saturday, August 16, 2014. Girl Scouts Mourns the Loss of Ms. Elizabeth "Honey" Gwin

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Ms. Elizabeth "Honey" Gwin Tuesday afternoon at the age of 105.  Ms. Gwin was president for Prairie Girl Scout Council and later served as Executive Director for the council that covered Northeast Mississippi.She was also the recipient of the Thanks Badge II, the highest honor bestowed upon a Girl Scout.
