Scouts Rock at Graceland
Each year, Graceland welcomes hundreds of Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts who travel to Memphis from all over the country to enjoy a day full of learning, creating and rock 'n' rolling at Scouts Rock at Graceland
During Scouts Rock at Graceland, Scouts learn new skills and earn achievements toward badge requirements in the following:
- Service Opportunities
- American Heritage
Vendors and other area organizations will be on hand for additional age-appropriate activities and scouting opportunities. A few of these groups include Casey Jones Village, DeSoto County Robotics Club, Elvis Presley's Birthplace, Memphis Hop, Memphis Fire Department, Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation, Southaven Police Department, Stax Museum of American Soul Music, Tennessee State Parks and many more.
- Graceland Mansion Tour & Elvis Airplanes
- Elvis Presley's Memphis Entertainment Complex featuring 14 all-new exhibits and attractions
- Scout Day Events and Activities
- Free Parking
Your Graceland experience - including taking the tour, participating in on-site scouting activities, and visiting exhibitor booths - may help toward completing various badges and achievements. Additional activities such as taking photos, finding and identifying trees, learning about museums, visiting our on-site radio station, hearing about careers in media and museum studies, and more – will add to your scouting knowledge and abilities.
Please bring non-perishable food items which will be donated to Mid-South Food Bank. During Scouts Rock, you’ll be able to design a card to be sent to the U.S. Military through the American Red Cross.
Bring your troop to one of the best Girl Scout and Boy Scout events around!
