Helping Hearts is a Girl Scouts Heart of the South volunteer support fund that provides assistance to Girl Scouts Heart of the South volunteers in crisis. Currently, we are utilizing the fund to aid GSHS volunteers in critical need due to the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Many of you may be struggling to meet the basic needs of your families, yet you are committed to carrying out the Mission of Girl Scouting. You are using your resources to provide virtual troop meetings and digital experiences that inspire, encourage, and provide stability and a sense of normalcy to girls so that they not only make it through the Coronavirus pandemic, but make it through stronger and more resilient.
As dedicated as you are to helping us, Girl Scouts Heart of the South is dedicated to making the world a better place for you – and your families. If you have been critically impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic and need assistance, then complete the Helping Hearts COVID-19 Support Fund Application. It is confidential and you can apply for yourself and/or another volunteer in need. The person receiving funds must be a currently registered Girl Scouts Heart of the South volunteer. Funds are limited and approval is not guaranteed. You will be notified via email within 7-10 business days if you are selected. Support will come in the form of a gift card or store e-card.
Thank you for all that you are doing to make the world a better place for girls and communities.
