This high adventure and career exploration day gives you a glimpse into the thrilling world of fire and emergency medical services!
- Rappel over the edge of a five-story building
- Climb a 30-foot aerial ladder
- Experience simulated firefighting environments
- Suit up in protective gear and tackle a life-saving obstacle course
- Feel the power of a charged fire hose as you extinguish a mock fire
- Learn about the JAWS of LIFE!!!
- Experience thermal energy as a life saving device used by fire fighters!
- Meet the highest ranking females in the Memphis Fire Department
- See Urban Search and Rescue dogs perform in simulated rescue and how drones can assist in rescues as well
- Learn about physical and educational requirements to be a firefighter or paramedic
Parents or troop leaders are $2 to cover lunch.
This program requires troop ratios to be met, all adults attending should be registered. Registration includes lunch.
