Love being outdoors? Always wanted to try backpacking but didn't know where to start? We will teach you! Explore the fun of backpacking. Learn backpacking skills, the basics of trip planning, and choosing gear. No previous backpacking experience required! Don't worry you'll still get to participate in all of the fun things camp has to offer and may even get a chance to meet the camp horses. (Note: This session might have a horseback riding rotation in it. This is not a horse camp. Campers MUST bring a pair of long pants and athletic shoes in case they might go horseback riding.)
Participants will have the opportunity to visit the camp Trading Post during their stay. Deposit Trading Post Funds now - CLICK HERE! You can also indicate that you would like to use Passport Bucks for Trading Post on this form. *Trading Post Funds must be deposited prior to camp and will not be accepted at check-in.
Passport Bucks can be applied to Camp Registration fees but not for the $50 deposit.
Financial Aid may be available. Applications can be found on the GSHS Summer Camp Page and application deadline is May 1st.
$50 Deposit is non-refundable. Refund may be available for remaining balance if cancelled before midnight on June 16th.
