Join Us in 2027!
The 2026 Dessert First special event fundraiser was held on Thursday, February 12th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Mt. Vernon Chapel, 1716 McCullough Blvd., Tupelo, MS. Attendees enjoyed Girl Scout Cookie-inspired desserts made by local chefs, caterers and restaurants.
The event features live music, hors d'oeuvres, adult beverages and a silent auction. *Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.

Local chefs and restaurants compete to win the People's Choice Award during the annual Dessert First Event. This fundraiser gives local businesses the opportunity to support Girl Scouts as well as get some community exposure.
Pictured left, 2026 People's Choice Award Winner Cooper Miller, owner and chef at Forklift, is presented his award plaque by GSHS Chief Development Officer Lori Gilmore. Cooper created a Tiramasu dessert based around the Girl Scout Trefoils Cookie.
