Local chefs and restaurants compete to win the People's Choice Award during the annual Dessert First Event. This fundraiser gives local businesses the opportunity to support Girl Scouts as well as get some community exposure.
Pictured left, 2026 People's Choice Award Winner Cooper Miller, owner and chef at Forklift, is presented his award plaque by GSHS Chief Development Officer Lori Gilmore. Cooper created a Tiramasu dessert based around the Girl Scout Trefoils Cookie.
