The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn.
Once achieved, it shows colleges, employers, and your community that
you're a leader and a change-maker.
Open to Girl Scouts
in high school, this prestigious award challenges you to make a
difference in your community and think beyond local solutions. By the
time you put the final touches on your seven-step project, you'll have
solved a community problem-not only in the short-term, but for years
to come.
We are here to help you Go Gold!
Join us for an online Girl Scout Gold Award training to learn about
the requirements, using the GSUSA Gold Award online portal, necessary
paperwork, timing of your projects and deadlines.
Training is MANDATORY for any girl who wishes to pursue earning the
Girl Scout Gold Award. Girls are encouraged to have their Gold Award
advisor, troop leader or parent sit in with them during this training
free of charge.
GSHS Gold Award Training is only
available to currently registered members of Girl Scouts Heart of the
South Council.
