Fort Pillow State Park
Fort Pillow State Park, encompassing 1,642 acres, is steeped in both natural beauty and Civil War history. Science Fair Center: The Home Depot and Discovery Education have joined forces to build Science Fair Central and help STEAM power classrooms (or troop meetings!). This resource is great for any leader who needs help with finding STEAM activities for girls. There are worksheets, and lessons that are free!
Nobody Trashes Tennessee

Girl Scout troops of all ages can earn this patch in various ways, such as joining community litter cleanups, organizing their own cleanup at a school or neighborhood, or taking part in beautification projects at a Girl Scout camp. For Girl Scouts ages 12 and up, the Adopt-A-Highway program offers the chance to earn both a patch and a roadway recognition panel by committing to quarterly cleanups. Younger Scouts can earn a patch by completing Nobody Trashes Tennessee educational worksheets. Patches are provided by Nobody Trashes Tennessee at no cost to troops or individual Scouts. Once you have completed your event, fill out the Request Form to get your patches.
