This course is designed to teach girls who are 16 years old and older and adults skills in emergency situatuions where help is delayed (such as a disaster, backcountry camping, etc.) Participants will be in class and outdoors. Bring a pen or pencil, notebook, daypack (with whatever you would take on a day hike), a sack lunch, and a water bottle. Class is 16 hours over 2 days. All sessions must be attended. Successful participants qualify as level 2 first aiders. (Needed for SU events and camporees). Course takes place on UT Martin's campus.
