Head to the Memphis Botanic Gardens during these special Girl
ScOUTINGS! Enjoy seasonal, self-guided, come and go activity stations
to support badge requirements.
With 30 specialty gardens over 96
acres, your Girl Scout will learn botany basics and environmental
lessons in a natural setting in the heart of Memphis. Girl Scouts will
need to wear their uniform, vest, or sash to participate.
Participation is limited; registration closes three days prior to each
date.
Specific themes for each outing include : November 9th-
Fall Colors. Take a stroll through the Aboretum and learn all about
trees and why they change colors. Girls will also participate in three
fun and exciting activities. April 26th-Tropical Treasures. Journey to
the jungle in the new Tropical Glasshouse Classroom. Girls will also
participate in three fun and exciting activities. Adults who accompany
their Girl Scout(s) will need to pay Garden admission upon entry to
the Garden. Adult admission is $12.
This is NOT a drop
off event. Troops must adhere to Girl Scout troop ratios and adults
accompanying their girl(s) must pay to enter the garden.
