Rev up your engines for the exhilarating Girl Scout Powderpuff Derby,
an event where creativity, speed, and fun take center stage! Girls
will unleash their inner engineers as they design, build, and decorate
their own race cars, transforming simple blocks of wood into sleek
racing machines. The excitement will soar as the cars zoom down the
track, with Girl Scouts cheering and celebrating every thrilling
moment.
With plenty of laughter and friendly competition, this
event promises a day of innovation and high-speed action. Get ready
for a fantastic adventure filled with creativity, excitement, and
unforgettable memories!
Girls will be divided into different
sessions based on grade level with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes
being awarded for each session. There will also be 5 overall design
awards for Best Girl Scout Spirit, Best Craftsmanship, Most Original,
Most Artistic, and Judges' Favorite.
Cost of event includes the car kit which will be available for pickup at one of our Girl Scout office locations. We're looking for 5 Adult Volunteers to help during the event. Adults, please register for the event only if you'd like to serve in one of these 5 volunteer positions. This is not a drop-off event - parents and troop leaders are welcome to attend without registering.
