Be prepared to respond when it matters most! Join us for an interactive CPR, AED & First Aid Training designed for Girl Scouts and adults to learn essential emergency response skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.
During this training, participants will learn how to recognize and respond to common emergencies, perform CPR, properly use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and provide basic first aid care until professional medical help arrives. Participants will have the opportunity to practice these skills and build confidence in responding calmly and effectively during an emergency.
This training is a great opportunity for our girls to develop valuable lifesaving skills, leadership, confidence, and preparedness, while adults can refresh or strengthen skills that can be useful at home, at work, during Girl Scout activities, and in everyday life.
Whether you are learning these skills for the first time or looking for a refresher, this training will provide practical knowledge that can help you feel more prepared to take action when someone needs help.
Participants will learn about:
CPR and emergency response
How to properly use an AED
Basic first aid techniques
Recognizing and responding to common emergencies
How to stay calm and take action during an emergency
When and how to seek additional medical assistance
Come ready to learn, practice, and gain skills that could one day help save a life!
*Participants will receive a link directly from Red Cross for the online training portion after the registration deadline and must complete the online portion prior to the in-person class.
