Encompassing 1,250 acres, Kamp Kiwani is located in a beautiful setting outside Middleton, TN, just 75 miles east of Memphis, TN.
The council’s largest camp boasts of a 70 acre lake, obstacle course, archery field, and the Gullies mud dunes. Guests can enjoy horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, kickball in the large game field, hiking, and crafts in the activity hut. During the summer guests can enjoy the large water inflatable in the lake.
Kamp Kiwani can accommodate 237 people, offering guests the option of screened-in cabins, open-air cabins, a lodge or tent camping.
The main camp area includes the Health Hut, Boat House, the Trading Post and the Thunder Bird Dining Hall. The Thunderbird is a screened-in facility that can accommodate up to 300 people and features a large stone fireplace, and includes a fully equipped commercial kitchen.
Seven camp units offer screened-in cabins or platform tents, a unit house and shower house. The units are located a short distance from the main camp area.
Also available to guests is Ginny Lodge, featuring a sleeping hall with 7 sets of bunk beds and a community bathroom. The private leaders’ suite will sleep two and includes a sitting area and private bathroom. The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen, with a wood burning stove, and is heated in the winter. Ginny Lodge is open year round.
Kamp Kiwani is also home to Sorrel Ridge and the NEW! Equestrian Center which hosts a two week equestrian program each summer, along with several council equestrian programs throughout the year. Kiwani also features Sandy Springs Ranch with a ranch house with a fully equipped kitchen, a shower house and five open-air cabins.
