You have the power to improve your community through action
Ready to help your community and earn one of the highest awards in Girl Scouting? Cadettes can team up with a small group of up to 3 fellow Girl Scouts or work on their own. To earn the Silver Award, you will research an issue you care about, make a plan to address it, and then take action to improve your community.
You can become a Silver Award Girl Scout if you:
Are in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade
Are a registered Girl Scout Cadette
Have completed a Cadette Journey
Take the Training!
GSUSA has a 3-part training for the Silver Award located in gsLearn. Registered adults can access the training. Host a training night with your girls and troop parents and go through the online training together! See link and additional information at the bottom of this page. Steps to access the training: Open a new web browser tab and Log into myGS and then select gsLearn from the left-side menu. Come back to this page and click the course name above. That should take you straight to the training!
