This year's Volunteer Leadership Summit events will provide opportunities for volunteers to enhance their leadership skills, learn about specific volunteer roles and network with fellow - local - volunteers and members of your service unit team!
Participants will be able to choose from various trainings based upon their own and their troop's various interests. And we can't wait to honor and recognize YOUR outstanding MY26 volunteers as we present the MY26 GSUSA and GSHS Adult Awards specifically for the volunteers in your region!
Come enjoy a wonderful day of learning, networking, and celebrating YOUR success! Lunch is also included.
Those who register will receive a confirmation email prior to the event with a link to select 3 choices from the following sessions:
1. Let's Talk: Ask your Questions and Share your Ideas - Volunteers can ask questions and share ideas in a conversational setting.
2. Celebrating our Traditions - From songs to ceremonies, Girl Scouts has lots of traditions to explore and enjoy with your girls!
3. Beyond the Meeting: Troops Around Town - Volunteers will be introduced to local programs and community service opportunities that the troop can participate in to add to their Girl Scout Experience.
4. Understanding Your Service Unit Role-Service Unit Team members only please - Service Unit team members will receive information and a role guidebook to equip them to be an asset to their Service Unit.
5. Bronze, Silver, and Gold: Pursuing Higher Awards - Learn everything you need to know about the process, tools and resources to lead your girls through the Girl Scout Higher Awards.
This event is FREE for all currently registered GSHS Service Team Members, Troop Co-Leaders, Troop Treasurers and Troop Product Sales Managers!
